"Before I started coaching with Jesseca I was really struggling at work. I was placed in a position that I was not very confident in. I did not know how to be a lead in the office. I really needed some help navigating the position. I wasn't very good at being direct with what needed from the people I was leading which led a lot of anger. Nothing was getting done the way it should be and I wasn't getting any help from management.
Coaching helped me look inward first and find ways to cope with the stress and anger I was feeling. I then learned strategies to communicate my feelings and needs at work better. I thought I had been effectively communicating but quickly realized during my time with Jesseca that it was hard for others to understand what was upsetting me. I've really been able to change the way I show up to work and how to approach coworkers and managers and set my boundaries. This has led to a lot of change with everyone in the office. Jesseca gave me the tools to be calm in situations that were stressful for me at work. I have learned about journaling when my emotions get out of control. Journaling helps me weed out the unimportant information and clearly highlight the issues I have in the work place so when I have important conversations with management they can clearly understand me with my emotions getting in the way.
I am so happy I made the choice to be dedicated to coaching with Jesseca. I don't feel so burned out at work because I'm getting the support I need. Being able to effectively communicate has been a big part of getting that support and it wouldn't have happened without coaching. I've grown so much in just 12 weeks. If I could go back in time I would make the same decision over again because the time I spent investing in myself has been one of the best things I've ever done.
